The Biobizkaia bbk brainlab goal is to understand the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases to develop effective, personalized precision therapies. To this aim, we exploit the synergy and complementarities of three experienced researchers from different backgrounds to tackle the complexity of these disorders at the molecular, cellular and functional levels in relevant models of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson´s disease (PD) and other neurodegenerative diseases to accelerate clinical therapies.
